01Definitions

In this DPA: "Controller" means the entity that determines the purposes and means of processing; "Processor" means Aiden Risk Technologies Inc.; "Personal Data" means information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person; "Processing" means any operation on personal data.

02Scope & Purpose

Aiden processes Personal Data solely to provide insurance brokerage services, risk analysis, and platform operations as agreed with the Controller.

03Obligations of the Processor

Aiden will process Personal Data only on documented instructions, ensure confidentiality of personnel, and not use data for any purpose other than the services or as required by law.

04Sub-Processors

Aiden may engage sub-processors under obligations no less protective than this DPA. The Controller will be notified of new sub-processors and may object on reasonable data protection grounds.

05Data Subject Rights

Aiden will assist the Controller in responding to data subject requests (access, rectification, erasure, etc.) to the extent required by law and that Aiden can fulfill from the data it processes.

06Security & Breach

Aiden implements appropriate technical and organizational measures. In the event of a personal data breach, Aiden will notify the Controller without undue delay and within 72 hours.

07Term & Contact

01Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Aiden Risk Technologies Inc.'s website, platform, or services, you agree to these Terms of Service. You must be at least 18 to use our services.

You may use our services only for lawful purposes. You may not misuse the platform, attempt unauthorized access, or use content for purposes other than your own use of the services.

05Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aiden's aggregate liability shall not exceed the greater of fees paid in the 12 months preceding the claim or $100. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

01Consent to Use Electronic Signatures

Under ESIGN and applicable state laws (UETA), you consent to conduct transactions with Aiden electronically, including receiving disclosures, applications, binders, policies, and other documents in electronic form and signing them electronically where we offer that option.

02Scope of Consent

Your consent applies to documents related to our insurance brokerage services. We will provide documents in a retainable format (e.g., PDF) and use a secure process for electronic signature.

03Withdrawing Consent

You may withdraw consent by contacting us in writing at [email protected]. Withdrawal does not affect documents already signed electronically.

Aiden is a licensed insurance broker. We act on your behalf to place coverage, negotiate terms, and assist with claims. We are not an insurer.

02How We Are Compensated

We are typically compensated through commissions from carriers and, in some cases, broker or consulting fees agreed in writing. We do not accept compensation that would create an undisclosed conflict of interest.
